The material
What is a research peptide?
A short chain of amino acids, made by chemical synthesis rather than extracted from tissue, supplied to laboratories for work in cells and in animal models. Short is relative: most of the catalog runs from three residues to about forty.
What does the milligram figure mean?
It is the quantity of peptide in the vial and nothing more. A 10 mg vial holds 10 mg of material. It is not a strength, a concentration, or a dose, and we do not publish anything that could be read as one.
Why does a product page say the research is preclinical?
Because for most of these compounds it is. The published work sits in cultured cells and in rodents. Controlled human trials, where they exist at all, usually concern a formulated medicine rather than a research powder. We say so on each page rather than leaving you to discover it.
Some products are fragments of larger proteins. Does that matter?
Yes, and it is the most common error made about this category. A fragment and its parent protein are different molecules with different published records, and findings about one do not transfer to the other. Where a product is a fragment, the listing says which molecule the research it cites was actually performed on.
Verification
How is quality verified?
Each batch is tested by an independent analytical laboratory, and the resulting Certificate of Analysis travels with that batch. Our guide to reading a certificate explains what each section reports.
Why is there no purity percentage on the site?
Because purity belongs to a single production lot. A figure quoted across an entire catalog is contradicted by the first batch that measures lower, and we would rather point you at the certificate for the lot you actually received.
Can I see a certificate before I order?
Ask and we will send the current one for that compound. Bear in mind that it covers the lot in stock at the time, and the lot you receive is the one named on the certificate in your shipment.
Handling
How should lyophilized material be stored?
As a sealed, dry solid, kept cold and out of the light. Storage and handling are part of your protocol rather than ours, and each product page carries notes specific to that compound. Reconstituted material should be treated as short-lived.

Can I order now?
Not yet. The catalog is published so you can review product information while fulfillment and payment are being connected. Pricing appears at the same time ordering opens.
Where will orders ship from?
From a fulfillment centre in the United States. Note that shipping from the United States is not the same as testing in the United States, and we do not claim the latter.
Use
Can I use these products on myself?
No. They are laboratory materials, not drugs, supplements, or cosmetics. They are not for human or veterinary use, and no product on this site is approved by the FDA for any therapeutic purpose. Our Research-Use Disclaimer sets this out in full.
Will you advise me on how to use a compound?
No. Questions about quantities, protocols, or any application involving a person or an animal fall outside what a supplier of laboratory materials can answer, and we decline them.
